It is an IPL treatment that goes far beyond what is able to be done with ordinary IPL treatment.
The RejuveLux Process can correct a variety of benign skin conditions with better efficacy including facial skin imperfections, signs of photo-aging, birthmarks, unsightly small veins, and other blemishes. RejuveLux IPL offers a safe and non-invasive treatment that can be tailored to your individual condition and skin type. We see superior cosmetic results and overall satisfaction through this procedure.
As we age, the skin on our neck, chest, and hands may undergo various natural and environmentally induced changes that include: fine lines and wrinkles; broken capillaries; vascular lesions; scarring; sun damage and dark pigment discolorations such as sun-induced freckles, Melasma, Rosacea, and age spots.
To deal with these unsightly imperfections, the Palomar Starlux ™ system uses AccuSpectrum ™ technology and treatment specific handpieces for versatility, smooth pulse technology to ensure patient comfort, photon recycling for maximum efficacy, plus an integrated contact cooling system for safety. This process gently diminishes the appearance of these skin blemishes without burning the skin's surface. The result is glowing, smooth, blush-free skin and a more youthful appearance.
You don't have to live with these imperfections! Let Contoure remove your pigmented and vascular lesions and improve your skin texture and tone with quick and easy treatments.
Rejuvelux IPL treats:
* Pigmented Lesions (Sunspots or Age Spots) - occur in response to sun-induced skin injury and appear as dark brown circles, known as Solar Lentigines. There can also be diffuse browning of the skin, known as Actinic Bronzing.
* Vascular Lesions - superficial blue, red, or purple veins under the skin's surface. Some common types include Rosacea (facial inflammation/redness) and Spider Veins (tiny vessel that appear near the surface of the face).
How many treatments are necessary?
The number of treatments depends on the number of conditions you are treating, and the severity of your individual problem. An average of 3 to 6 treatments may be recommended. You can return to work the same day and resume all of your regular activities. By dividing the program into several treatments, the procedure provides gradual improvement with very low risk and "no down time". Most people appreciate this approach. However, there are options for a more aggressive application if needed.
What conditions can be treated with photorejuvenation?
Imperfection on the face or abnormalities can detract from your appearance and make you look older and less healthy. IPL™ technology helps create smoother looking skin. After a series of treatments, you can see a significant reduction of unwanted pigmentation, tiny blood vessels (capillaries), sun damage, age spots, flushing and blotchy looking skin. It is an excellent treatment for rosacea and erythema that can cause social embarrassment. It is used on both men and woman successfully without injuring surrounding healthy skin. Photorejuvenation can be used on the neck, chest, arms and hands. It is also used on back and abdomen for age spots and hemangiomas.
Gentlewaves LED Photomodulator has been proven to enhance IPL results and reduce immediate post-treatment redness.
