Why Should You Wax?

If you're not ready for laser hair removal, waxing is the next best thing, leaving your skin smooth for weeks, creating cleaner and more sanitary areas all over your body. Waxing, along with exfoliating can help reduce ingrown hairs and eliminate razor bumps. When you wax, your hair grows back less dense; leaving your hair finer and softer.

Waxing Tips
Maximize the results of your waxing treatment.

• Exfoliate three consecutive days before your appointment.

• Hair must be approx. 1/4 inch long.

• To reduce potential sensitivity during the service, take Tums or another antacid half an hour before waxing if your diet is rich in caffeine or citric fruits.

• After your waxing service, exfoliate a minimum of three times per week to prevent ingrown hairs, but not for the first 24 hours immediately following your service.

• Waxing is not recommended for clients using topicals such as Retin- A, Differin, Renova, Tazarac, Tretinoin, Avage, Alustra, topical antibiotics, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Salicylic Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide or any other acne medication, Accutane or any other skin thinning medication. Individuals do react differently to these medications, and sometimes waxing is ok.
